Advertising reaches millions of people each and every day. It has the power to change the world through every person reached. The environment is a growing issue among Americans and throughout the world. We need something that reaches millions and even billions of people to educate and show how to make the world a greener place. Advertising has the power to reach mass audiences through the use of media. Advertisers need to provide us with new ideas and ways that we can help the environment.

Perfect WATCO question. It's definitely a controversial issue, especially with terms like "Greenwash." After further research you should be able to take a stance on some aspect of the issue. I look forward to seeing what you discover!
ReplyDeleteThis is a really cool topic. It wasn't until my marketing class this semester that I really understood the true value of advertising. One thing I would recommend is showing the immediate and long term benefits that advertisers present to the public on this issue and how responsive the viewers are to both methods/suggestions.
